For a long time I could not resolve the contradicting messages about the origins of the universe, life and man in particular.  In schools evolution was the only explanation taught, namely, that at some point in time, the universe started with the Big Bang. It took long time to turn the impossible into the improbable to the probable and the possible. On the other hand, in the Bible, in Genesis 1, we are told that a supreme being, God brought everything ex nihilo into existence.​
