Metaphysics - Theology

In the second chapter, verse 7 of the book of Ruth we read: "And she said, 'Please let me glean after the reapers among the sheaves."  It happened not only once that when I was listening to a sermon that I detected a chiastic structure which I later studied in detail. I am not a theologian, but the technique helps me also in my personal study. When you have the feeling thread the logic of the structure is ok, then you cannot fail to find the message.

One evening, a group of friends sat together, and I was talking about structures in the Scriptures. One picked up the thoughts I presented and suggested that I put them on paper. One picked up the thoughts I presented and suggested that I put paper. That was the starting point of Grains.

Grains is written in the form of a diary; there is no thematic order. I selected the Bible passages for further study as they came to mind. Each “Grain” appears in the sequence it was originally written. The stories told are almost all from my own life experience and I welcome you to get to know me personally as you read.

In most cases, the reader will find tables with each grain throughout this book. There are one or more columns that are headed with an “X”, which designates the level of the chiastic structure. The column “Ch:V” contains the information pertaining to the part of the text (chapter:verse) to which the layer refers. The next column gives you an interpretation of the verse(s). In the last column you can verify the information by reading the actual text.

The first 100 'Grains' appeared in book form (xulonpress.com/bookstore, English only).

Samples are found in the Grain or Korn-file. They appear roughly in intervals of a month.
